HitPaw VikPea’s AI Video Enhancer includes three powerful AI-driven enhancement modules to meet diverse video quality needs.

General Model
The General Model includes five specialized AI sub-models—General Restoration, Video Quality Repair, HD Sharpen, Fast Sharpen, and Animation. Whether you're restoring old home videos, sharpening blurry recordings, or enhancing animated content, this model gives you the flexibility to choose the right enhancement for your specific needs. It’s perfect for users who want more control over the enhancement process and quality.

AI Pilot
AI Pilot is your intelligent assistant for video enhancement. If you're not sure which model to pick, simply choose AI Pilot—this smart feature automatically analyzes your video’s quality issues and recommends the best enhancement model for you. With just one click, you can preview and export the optimized result, saving time while ensuring high-quality output.

Portrait Model
Designed specifically for videos with people, the Portrait Model offers two powerful options: Face Restoration and Face Generation. It enhances facial clarity, repairs blur, and even reconstructs missing features, making it ideal for interviews, vlogs, close-ups, and family memories. Whether you’re restoring old footage or beautifying new recordings, this model brings faces back to life with impressive detail.

Preview
HitPaw VikPea offers a free 3–5-10 second preview that allows users to see a real-time before-and-after comparison of their video enhancement results. This feature helps you evaluate the effect of each model before committing to a full export, ensuring you get the desired outcome without using up credits or processing time unnecessarily.
You can click the Preview dropdown to choose between a 3-second or 5-second preview. HitPaw VikPea will then apply the selected enhancement model starting from the current playback position, allowing you to see how the next 3 or 5 seconds of the video will look after enhancement.

Cut
The Cut feature allows you to trim your video before enhancement or export. After clicking the Cut icon, two draggable bars will appear on the timeline. Simply drag these bars to set the start and end points of the segment you want to keep. The portion between the two bars is the selected clip that will be used for preview and export. This ensures you're enhancing only the specific part of the video you need—saving time and resources.

Export Settings
Within the Resolution section, you can define the output dimensions of your video. Selecting the dropdown will display a full list of standard resolutions, along with a customizable option.

Cloud Export vs. Local Export
At the right bottom of the progrm, you may find two options: Export and Cloud Export.
Cloud Export: It leverages HitPaw VikPea’s cloud rendering technology, powered by high-performance servers. This option provides faster, more efficient exports compared to most local systems—especially for users with limited hardware capabilities. Cloud Export offloads heavy processing tasks to the cloud, freeing your computer’s resources and reducing wait times. To use this feature, you’ll need to purchase and use cloud credits. On the other hand, Export refers to local rendering, where video processing is done using your own device’s hardware.
Note: Cloud Export is only available for models that support cloud acceleration. If the option doesn’t appear, it means the selected model does not currently support cloud rendering.
After you set up the AI model and export settings, click the Cloud Export button on the bottom. A popup appears showing the video info and the credits that will be consumed to use cloud export.

Click Export Now button to start processing the video with fast speed.

In the Cloud Task window, you can click Add button to add a new task. In the pop-up window, you need to define the video resolution, AI model, crop settings, format and bit rate. Click OK button to start processing.

Once a task is completed, you can access to the file in the Completed panel. In the Completed panel, the file is still in the cloud. Click the cloud icon to download the file to computer.

If the AI model you choose supports cloud acceleration, you can also see the cloud acceleration button in the normal export interface.

Click Acceleration now button to enable the cloud accleration. The process speed will be much faster.

When the task is completed, you can access to it in the Completed tab.
