About HitPaw Video Converter for Mac GPU Acceleration

What Is Converter GPU Acceleration

GPU acceleration is the use of the massive processing power of the GPU in parallels, such as M1®, CUDA™, AMD®, and Intel® Core™ graphics cards, to release the burden of the CPU and uninstall some computationally intensive and time-consuming works.

To be used:

  • In the conversion process of audio and video, H.264 and other video encodings are converted to another format, such as MKV to MP4, AVI to MP4, MP4 to MP3.
  • In the editing process of audio and video, such as cutting, cropping, trimming, splitting, merging, rotating, subtitles, adding effects, etc.
  • In the process of 2K\4K\8K files, such as playback preview, format conversion, cutting, etc.

What Are the Advantages of GPU Acceleration

  • Faster video converter, video editing, and others. Increase the speed to 60XP;
  • Multiple tasks can be working at the same time, for example, you can edit video such as cutting during conversion without slowing down the speed of running the computer;
  • Reduce equipment heating;
  • Extend hardware lifetime;
  • Using GPU acceleration can help reduce CPU loss and complete lists more smoothly.
